Ask Que™ AI Leave Planner: To Be Used for Leave Information and Preliminary Leave Planning by Employees

In shaping and designing our Ask Que AI Leave Planner, we have embraced Core Responsible AI Use Principles and Practices as described below:

  1. Ask Que AI Leave Planner is powered by an AI assistant. Its purpose is to provide users with general leave-related information for preliminary leave planning. In short, Ask Que will illustrate what a leave might look like for employees.
  2. Ask Que AI Leave Planner is intended to enhance the employee experience by providing a tool that allows employees to better understand their leave of absence options in a safe, responsive, and secure manner prior to requesting a leave.
  3. Ask Que AI Leave Planner does not constitute legal, human resource (HR), or professional advice. It does not decide or make judgement or determination concerning an employee’s leave requests.  All leave related decisions are made exclusively by authorized HR personnel for your company and must be validated by your HR department before any action is taken.
  4. A leave request submitted via Ask Que is not an eligibility determination or leave approval. Eligibility determinations and leave approvals are conducted in Qcera’s LeaveSource® platform with strict HR review and oversight.
  5. Ask Que AI Leave Planner is integrated with Qcera’s MyLeave self-serve portal and securely submits leave requests to Qcera’s LeaveSource® application. For privacy reasons, no information that can be attributed to or can identify an employee is being shared with the AI assistant. All conversations with Ask Que are confidential and are deleted upon completing each session. The conversations are not used to train the underlying AI model.
  6. Ask Que AI Leave Planner is in full compliance with Qcera’s security protocols governing the LeaveSource® platform and technology environment.
  7. As an AI-assisted tool, Ask Que can occasionally contain incomplete or inaccurate information, and not fully align with an employee’s circumstances.  Users are encouraged to review AI-generated information carefully and apply the appropriate judgement.  Ask Que is continuously improving through ongoing refinement, development and feedback.  We expect Ask Que’s accuracy, relevance, and performance to improve over time.
